Each form of practice or priliminary  work for my creations are unique in their own way. My complete process typically follows this order:

Brainstorm & choose mediums & materials

Testing Specific characteristics (color, texture, pattern)

03.

Rough draft! Retrace onto preferred canvas

04.

Prep canvas and begin layering colors/basics of the piece

05.

Add major components and finishing touches

Base layering on offical canvas (paper in this case). Did some texture work (bottom left) & watercolor (right)

05.

The pink rug was textured. After lots of layering and fixing mistakes, I was able to lay down all important details to which then I went in with pencil crayon and paint markers for final details. This is the finished product
